ROAD TO 2030

A concrete and long-lasting commitment towards sustainable development.

Sustainability

Towards a Responsible Development

At Bluegame, sustainability is a strategic and tangible commitment, built on three key pillars: environmental, social, and economic. Bluegame actively contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set out in the 2030 Agenda, integrating them into the daily operations.

SUSTAINABILITY EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Bluegame operates with respect for the environment through targeted actions, such as the use of renewable energy, ISO 14001:2015 certification, the progressive adoption of low-impact fuels (HVO), and the partnership with the Blue Marine Foundation to protect marine biodiversity.

Bluegame places strong emphasis on people’s well-being, promoting health and safety in the workplace (ISO 45001:2018), cultural inclusion for foreign workers, and training opportunities. The Code of Ethics reflects the values of integrity, transparency, and respect.

Bluegame conducts every business guided by ethical principles, supported by tools such as the Organizational, Management and Control Model (Model 231) and a robust anti-corruption policy. Every strategic decision is aimed at creating long-term value for all stakeholders.

BGH: America’s Cup chase boat

Sustainability at the highest level

Bluegame American Magic support catamaran in full foiling mode during testing, merging yacht design innovation and performance.

BGH-HSV (Hydrogen Support Vessel) is the extreme one-off boat fully in line with “Road to 2030”, the Sanlorenzo Group’s strategic vision that guides product development focusing on technological research and sustainability.
The chase boat was designed by an unrivalled team of experts following the strict requirements of the America’s Cup Protocol to fly on foils at 50 knots alongside American Magic and Orient Express on the racecourse in Barcelona.

BGH is powered exclusively by hydrogen, making zero-emission, with a range of 180 miles. The use of hydrogen as the sole propulsion system marks an important milestone in sustainable technology, not only for Bluegame and the Sanlorenzo Group, pioneers in the journey towards carbon neutrality, but for the entire boating industry.
Such a revolutionary project was also made possible by the support of top-level partners: Sangiorgio Marine, EODev, Natpower H and Smart Gyro. This is not an end but a starting point for the shipyard, which will leverage this experience on the new BGF45. The new BGF range, which contains a series of innovations inspired by the BGH, combines foil technology, performance and sustainability to an unprecedented level.
